I am a proud Maize High School graduate!
In 2005, I graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Apparel & Textiles and a minor in Business Administration. I headed west to Aspen, Colorado where I worked for the next five years in luxury retail. I attended Colorado Mesa University in 2011 and received my post-baccalaureate licensure in Elementary Education. I taught third grade in Carbondale, CO for the next two years.
Upon moving home to Wichita, I began my career at Maize teaching fifth grade and eventually moving to second. Second graders have my heart and I am currently enrolled at Newman University where I am working on my ESOL endorsement.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, riding horses and traveling.
